Experience Bhutan's most spectacular annual festival — the Paro Tshechu. Held at Rinpung Dzong, this multi-day religious celebration is a kaleidoscope of colour, devotion, and sacred performance that has barely changed in centuries.

The crown jewel: a pre-dawn gathering for the unveiling of the massive Thongdrel — a 7-storey silk scroll depicting Guru Rinpoche — believed to grant liberation upon sight. This is Bhutan at its most vibrant and alive, exactly as locals experience it.
